Reflections: 30 Things I’m Thankful For

I have so many things to be thankful for.

Family. Friends. Safety. Freedom. Food. Faith.* The Bible says, “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1 Thes. 5:18) I touched on this topic of thankfulness in this post. Because Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away for some of you (it sure doesn’t feel like it here – it’s cold and snowy), I wanted to share 30 things that I’m thankful for.Β

*Yes I just realized 5/6 of those words started with an F πŸ˜›

Kidding. Whether we do or don’t realize it, we have a ton of things to be grateful for. God is SO GOOD. Whenever I have a reason to be sad, I have a thousand more reasons to be thankful and joyful. Trick: It’s almost like magic whenever you remember to be thankful instead of being sad!

    Beautiful post, Rebecca!

  2. This is a very nice post. πŸ˜ƒ Everyone should take some time once and a while and count their blessings, even if they don’t make it into a post. 😊

  3. I’m thankful for my Sunday School Leaders who have prayed with me week after week. For Thanksgiving, I am having all of my family come to my house which is super excited because my cousin just got engaged!
