Art is one of my hobbies. Whenever I can
which is never, I try to do an art project. It may be as simple as a journal entry in my Bible.
Art can be a great stress reliever. Plus, when you’re done, you can be proud of your work! Even if it didn’t turn out the way you wanted, you can still be glad you spent your time working towards getting better. It’s all worth it in the end!
Today I’ll be showing you some of my recent art projects, which vary from object and scenery pieces to lettering plaques.

I did this using faux calligraphy with Micron pens. It’s such an inspiring verse. I love the look of the big, spaced out script!
I used my new Tombow Dual Brush Pens to create this verse spread.
I absolutely love the look of the red truck and trees. So I tried my hand at drawing this! I’m not super happy with how it turned out, but I have to admit I was rushing.
This is my favourite. Hands down. Although it took a longgg time, I love how it turned out. My only regret is the trees in the background. They look more like poles, haha. Oh well.
Moving on to Bible Journal entries! I did this with micron pens and a gold accent pen. Yeah, a little off centre.
I did this one with my micron pens (you can tell I love them!)
I wanted to try something a little different so I used microns (haha) and wrote the verse out and then used a pink Tombow pen for the accents.
I was going for more of a bright, colorful, uplifting theme for this verse. Wow, the yellow really shows up bright!
Yep. I spelled “courage” wrong. Oh well. If you don’t take a second look you’ll never know it’s there. 😛
I was going for a minimalist entry here. This verse is so inspiring. ❤
That wraps up today’s post! Just a reminder that the last day to submit questions to the LCSW 1.0 form is TODAY (December 23rd), so be sure to get those in!
What was your favorite art project featured here?
Have a very, Merry Christmas; I’ll see you back after the Holidays! ❤
