April 2018 BuJo Plan With Me + March Recap

Hello lovelies! I hope you are having an amazing week. Is it just me, or does it feel like March flew by in a snap?! I feel like I’m always saying this… but it’s true! =/ Spring is finally here not really because it’s been snowing every weekend; the thoughtsย and dreams of warmer weather bring cheeriness to our lives, agreed?

Today you’ll get to take a peek at my April 2018 BuJo set up AS WELL as my monthly recap for the month of March. Let’s do this!

The first thing I did was design the cover page for the month. I went with a minimalist, black and white, floral spread. Sadly, it is a little tilted, but at first glance it looks fantastic, imo ๐Ÿ˜› I added the days of the month below the title header.

Next I added a monthly calendar layout. I personally didn’t know what to do with this page, so I just made simple vertical, rectangular boxes. I didn’t have a good ruler, so I couldn’t precisely measure the boxes. ๐Ÿ˜ฉย It’ll have to work, though.

On the page opposite the monthly spread I added a habit tracker. This includes habits for amount of water intake, exercise, gratitude, and my teeth cleaning routine. I added all the days of the month to each individual section and will colour in or mark off the day if I completed that section. I’ll probably add more to this page.

The next thing I added was a goals spread. This was actually placed before the main April chunk, but I wanted to put it in here anyways. I made 6 boxes with goals I want to accomplish in 2018, one of those being to read 50 books.

The “reading list” spread will be where I write the names of the titles of books so I can see what I read. I’ve yet to add the 26 books I’ve read so far!

The last thing I added was a weekly spread. I didn’t have too much inspiration for this page – I wanted to keep it minimalist and bold. As you can tell, I totally butchered the dates at the top. Oh well ๐Ÿ˜› I added the days of the week, a section for notes, and a then an inspirational quote on top that says “The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today.” It kind of got smushed, lol.

9. I’m actually *shocked* ๐Ÿ˜ฎย as to how many books I actually read this month. I felt like I was barely reading anything, but here we are! These are the titles of the books I divided into this past month of March:

Prisoner of the Pyrenees (Hedgcock) // Love Comes Softly #1 (Oke) // The Hungry Year (Crook) // Sir Gawain and the Green Knight (translated by Tolkein) // Sarah Plain and Tall (MachLachlan) // Skylark (MachLachlan) // Wilfred Grenfell: Arctic Adventure (Finlayson) // Girl Defined (Clark, Baird) // Mara, Daughter of the Nile (McGraw)

I am currently in the midst of reading 4 different book series – it’s been funny because each time I finish a book, the next one in the series is from another series that I’ve been waiting to read, and so on! As you could probably guess, there are a lot of scenes and plots playing through my head ๐Ÿ˜›

Guysssย I feel so guilty -this month was pretty quiet for posts… if you include this one, I only posted 5 times in March! How. is. that. even. real? I was hoping that I could post more but it just didn’t work by way of scheduling. My deepest apologies. (TO APRIL!) Take a look at the stats and all that fun stuff, you stalker ๐Ÿ˜›

stats for march:

233 followers // 800 views // 300 visitors // 160 likes // 80 comments

most popular post of the month:

This one got a lot of views, I’m guessing its because people really want to know HOW TO DO THINGS. We are lost half the time – overwhelmed with expectations, assignments, anxiety… the list goes on. This post was one of those that *I hope* helped you.

my personal favorite post of the month:

This one was really fun to do… finding random facts about me was pretty tricky! I always love learning new things about people, and I hope you guys learned some new things about me!

March was my birthday month(!!) I received so many birthday wishes and gifts which I’m so grateful for! I didn’t have a party, but we did go out for brunch, which was amazing. Yay! I’m officially one year older *whoop whoop* ๐Ÿ˜€

I’ve been going through a ton of weird stomach issues which has sucked and caused me to lose sleep and concentration at times so that’s been fun! =/

Nothing big happened this month… I feel like maybe I should write the things I do daily down so I can actually have things to put here? Next month…ย ๐Ÿ‘Œ

That’s it for today! I feel like this post was longer than it was originally going to be but THATS OK!ย I hope you enjoyed tagging along with me as I planned my BuJo for the month of April and recapped March!

  2. Your April bullet journal is so pretty and I absolutely love each page!
I wish I had even a teeny bit of your artistic talent ๐Ÿ˜›
Hope that you can accomplish everything you want to next month and that your stomach issues will get better! (if they haven’t already)

  3. HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY, REBECCA! *sends sparkles and pixie dust* AND oh mt gosh, is there a prettier bullet journal in existence? I think not. You read 9 whole books? I read a plain, flat zero. Well, unless you count books for school. I’m so sorry your stomach has been bothering you. I hope you feel better!

  4. Wowowow. Your bullet journal spreads are absolutely GORGEOUS. I’m inspired to create my own now!

I hope you had a wonderful birthday and that you figure out what’s wrong with your stomach. I’m no doctor, but you might want to see if you are allergic to any foods. I’m allergic to gluten, but before I found out I was allergic, I had painful stomach problems as well. Since I’ve cut it out of my diet, my stomach problems ceased and I overall feel a lot better. Just a suggestion. ๐Ÿ™‚

Anywho, happy Easter! I can’t wait to see your next post, Allision!

    1. Thank you!! Yes, I cut out gluten a few years back, then “got back on” to eating it after a while. That may be what I have to do again! Happy (belated) Easter to you as well! โค
