8 Ways To Use Pinterest

LIFE TIPS / HACKS

Happy first day of summer, everyone! 🍉

I cannot express how much I love Pinterest. There are so many ways to use it! In today’s post I’m sharing 8 fun ways to use it. Hopefully you’ll find here a new way to use this wonderful site.

8 WAYS TO USE

one // use it for storyboards

If you’re a write, using Pinterest for story inspiration is a m a z i n g. You can find so many different ideas on there and put them all into one spot (a board). Plus, you can make various categories within the board. How cool is that?

two // use it to share your own photos
Pinterest is not only an inspirational place to share ideas, it can also be used as a social media platform! I sometimes use it to share my latest blog posts.

three // use it as a wish list
This idea is so creative! It’s so convenient too. Simply search up things you want, pin them to a board, and when the time comes, share the board with your family and friends so they know what to buy you!

four // use it to find recipe ideas
Need some recipe ideas? Just hop on Pinterest and prepare to be amazed at the endless options. Plus, there’s a handy filter section — Total Time, Diet, and Ingredient.

five // use it to find outfit inspiration
Out of ideas on what to wear? Search up outfit ideas on Pinterest! Search color scheme, brand, season…you name it.

six // use it to draw art inspiration from
I do this all the time when I’m looking for inspiration for art projects. Simply type, “art project ideas” and the medium with which you want to create with, and be prepared to gasp at the wonderful, easy things you can create. I mostly look up lettering or bujo stuff, but when I’m in the mood for an acrylic piece, I’ll look up something.

seven // use it to edify
I love to pin inspirational quotes, Bible verses, and art pieces.

eight // use it for the fun of it
I love using Pinterest for “the fun of it.” I have so many boards with so many different pins. Have fun!

  1. I use it to pin my own posts and to make inspiration boards. I had two secret boards for these two different story ideas I had (The Triad of Caosdif, and this other one on dragons) but then when I had the idea to combine them, I moved all the pins from the dragon board to my Triad of Caosdif board and released it soon after! (It’s super epic now; even one of my older sister likes it, heh heh!)
I also agree with using it for our own pictures and pins. I pin all my blog posts onto it, and it’s super awesome whenever I get notified of repins! 😄

  2. I stalk your Pinterest like nobody’s business 😂😂 I only use Pinterest for storyboarding now, but maybe later I will use it for other things!

(I’ve pinned so much of your storyboarding stuff that when I saw the snapshot of your board I thought it was mine! Got a little scared for a moment, ya know 😆)
