I have so many things to be thankful for.
Family. Friends. Safety. Freedom. Food. Faith.* The Bible says, “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1 Thes. 5:18) I touched on this topic of thankfulness in this post. Because Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away for some of you (it sure doesn’t feel like it here – it’s cold and snowy), I wanted to share 30 things that I’m thankful for.
Note before reading: This post is going to be different from my regular posts.
Charis Rae, formerly know as Grace from The Girl Upstairs, is launching her new, self-hosted blog site! This girl is so sweet, and so is her blog, so go check it out!
Here’s a little bit about the new site…
About the Author:
Among many things, Charis is a dreamer, dancer, writer & photographer, blogger, bibliophile, and daughter of the King. She enjoys blogging and am excited to move her blog to the next level.
About Charis Rae:
Charis Rae is a self-hosted, more professional version of Charis’ former
blog, The Girl Upstairs. After blogging for quite a while, she decided to switch to a more professional platform and share more about her, her life, and her name. 😉 On Charis Rae, she’s going to be sharing her interests, abilities, and journey through life and blogging, with all of you along for the ride.
Charis’ journey in the vast universe of the World Wide Web began at about age 9. Her dad set up a private, Blogger-hosted blog read only by her friends and close family. She loved blogging, and although she wasn’t consistent, she enjoyed creating content.
Now, several years later, Charis is creating her own self-hosted, professional blogging platform.
Hopes for Charis Rae:
Charis hopes that Charis Rae will become just as successful as The Girl Upstairs, but will reach more people, and eventually grow into something beyond my wildest dreams. She’s also excited to “learn the ropes” of self-hosting, coding, and WordPress.org, and can’t wait to see what the future has in store!
